Today
many companies and public institutions already have their own in-house,
central cooling water supply as standard. However, for many cooling
applications (e.g. lasers, electron microscopes or x-ray generators,
and many more) this cooling water is either too cold or of insufficient
quality (dirt, rust, etc.).
The
ProfiCool Unicus provides the solution.
It employs a primary/secondary exchange system, i.e. a cooling system
without an active refrigerating unit.
The
application itself is cooled here via its own water circuit (= secondary
circuit). Temperature control is carried out via an electronically
controlled solenoid valve.
The
process heat that is dissipated is transferred via a water-to-water
heat exchanger to the central cooling water supply (= primary circuit).
This
system offers controllable water quality and functions almost silently.
For this reason it is popular in laboratories and other working
areas.
The
ProfiCool Unicus can be employed to good advantage whenever
the desired or acceptable temperature for the application lies above
the feed temperature of the central cooling water supply.
